Nick Leasure is a trusted communications advisor to senior executives and communications and investor relations officers.
During his 13-year career, Nick has developed and executed strategic communications programs for corporate transactions, shareholder engagement and proxy fights, restructurings, senior leadership transitions, corporate crises, litigations and regulatory matters. Nick has advised clients across industries, including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, technology, energy, real estate, DeFi, financial services and asset managers, industrials, consumer products, retail and automotive.
Representative client engagements include:
- 23andMe in its Chapter 11 filing and pursuit of a Section 363 sale;
- First Republic Bank’s Executive Chairman on issues relating to the bank’s FDIC’s receivership;
- Midwest Holdings on its $100M sale to Antarctica Capital;
- Sanderson Farms on its $4.5B sale to Cargill and Continental Grain;
- Texas Pacific Land Corporation, Bausch Health, Pasithea and American Vanguard on shareholder activism;
- CareDx in false advertising and IP litigation with a competitor, regulatory investigations and leadership transitions;
- GTCR in reputation management surrounding portfolio company litigation;

Prior to joining Reevemark in 2019, Nick spent two years and five years at strategic communications firms Finsbury and Joele Frank, respectively, in their New York offices. Nick holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a bachelor’s in Mathematics and Economics from Muhlenberg College.
